Monday & Tuesday

Monday we spent the period on an introduction to Invisible Man, taking some notes on Ellison and the novel, and reading the prologue aloud. HW: Read Chapter 1.

Tuesday we started the day watching a short clip from Ken Burns' Jazz about Louis Armstrong and the song "What Did I Do to be So Black and Blue?" For the rest of the period we worked on some questions about chapter 1.
