School Pictures, the Syllabus, & Reading Goals

Today we talked about the syllabus and had a short quiz on it, finished our reading goals (see below), and took school pictures.

"The Three Lilies"

Today we continued our reading goals in the WU and had a rousing discussion of "the Three Lilies" for the rest of the period.

Unit Objective and Some Reading Goals

After a bit of reading self-evaluation, we talked about Adler's essay and started our reading goals. For HW, students should reread and annotate Neruda's "The Three Lilies." 

Annotation

After some general business, we read "How to Mark a Book" and then reread it and annotated it. Students should finish this annotation for HW.
