MC & Work Time

Wrapping Up Reading 1
We began the day with a quick quiz on acts 4 and 5 and then shared the homework and some general thoughts about the play. I finally collected writer's notebooks in period 3.

Socratic Seminar, Day 2
Today we finished up our Socratic Seminar and our look at Ellison's Invisible Man. The study guide is due tomorrow before the timed essay.

Today we started our final discussion of Invisible Man which took the form of a Socratic Seminar. Students should prepare for tomorrow's continuation of the seminar by reviewing their self-evaluation sheets and taking some notes on the questions below.

Thursday & Friday (posted Sunday)
Thursday we spent the day presenting the poem work from Tuesday. After wrapping this up Friday, we had a quick exit ticket, followed by a quiz on chapter 25 of Invisible Man, and wrapped up the day with a quick circle to talk about the end of the book (almost). Students should read the Epilogue and reread the prologue for class on Monday.
